I’ve been working with a few clients to ensure their Google Business Profile (GBP) is set up and functioning optimally. If you don’t already have this set up as a business, please do! It is a valuable piece of real estate you should be tapping into as a business on Google.

As I discovered on my journey, you can now add a manager to your Google Business Profile. This is incredibly handy if you need help keeping your business page up to date and need a helping hand.

Managing a business profile can be time-consuming, especially when juggling multiple responsibilities. By adding a manager, you can delegate tasks such as updating business hours, responding to reviews, and posting updates. This ensures your profile remains active and engaging, which can significantly enhance your online presence and attract more clients.


Learn How to Add a Manager to Your GBP in Just 8 Easy Steps!


 ✨Here is a quick rundown.


1️⃣ Log in to your account:

Start by logging into your Google account that is associated with your business profile.

2️⃣ Access the menu: 

Click on the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top left corner of the screen.

3️⃣ Go to Business Profile settings: 

From the menu, select “Business Profile” to access your business settings.

4️⃣ Navigate to people and access: 

In the settings menu, find and click on “People & Access.”

5️⃣ Add a manager: 

Click on the “Add” button to start the process of adding a new manager.

6️⃣ Enter their email: 

Input the email address of the person you want to add as a manager.

7️⃣ Assign the manager role: 

Choose the role you want to assign to the new user. In this case, select “Manager.”

8️⃣ Send the invitation: 

Finally, click “Invite” to send an invitation to the new manager. They will receive an email with instructions on how to accept the role.
